Avgolemono soupa is made with egg, lemon, chicken and rice. The name avgolemono comes from the Greek word “avga” meaning egg, and “lemono” meaning lemon. You may find our family’s great-grandfather “Big Papou” in the kitchen cooking up his delicious recipe.
